Sensor question

Just came back from Autozone and had them read the code off my 98 S10. Came back P0155 HO2S Heater performance Bank 2 Sensor 1. Where can i locate this sensor on the vehicle? And how much does a sensor like this run?

Bank 2 = passenger side
Sensor 1 = first sensor from the engine

find your passenger side exhaust manifold and follow the exhaust pipe until you encounter the first o2 sensor - that is the one.

about 50 bux at Autozone for Bosch replacement. about 130 bux from the dealer

use antiseize compound on the threads is you replace the sensor.

spend the money, get the oe replacment, unless you like changing o2's, but thats just my 2 cents

make damn sure not to get the anti sieze on the actual sensor itself , itll foul it out

to take a little from both arguements regarding price of a sensor, look online for an oe, but one that isn't as expensive as the one you see in the dealer.

i just redid a fuel pump on my 01 2.2
the dealer wanted $1100 for the pump! i found a brand new delco online for $300. that's a bargain, my friends.

that comes from a place like rowerdink, they buy overstock parts from the chevy dealer, but, they also supply the dealer, so the price for an original is a lot cheeper then dealer, but you have to be 'in' to get to them
