outer mods on a 1993 escort

i want to know if i can put a GT grill on a standard 93' escort LX? I also want to know if I can put a spoiler on it too.. Please let me know.

i believe you can because i think that the mounting points are the same its just that they look different. My brother as an 89 lx and he has gt bumper and grill. i dont know about the spoiler though

I know you can put the trade grills with a GT. I'm not sure about the spoiler...

I was going to get the grill but I decidied against it because im saving for a newer car... I suggest you do the same... Spending money on aftermarket parts does not increase the value our little escorts, they are still worth 1k...

I agree, Save your money, unless you get them for real cheap at a salvage yard, and they're usually easy to find.

Yeah i know..my escort has only 77K on it and it is in great shape. I just wanted to make it look better. I can get it cheap cheap at a junk yard.
I really don't think I will buy another car. But oh well

You can get a spoiler with LED lights on Ebay from a place called Spoiler Central in Franklin, Tennesee for $39 and $20 shipping. Send them your paint code and they'll paint it for $115 and ship it to you for $20. Great buy. Fits my scort perfectly and they even sanded it so it was ready to paint.

why not get a escort gt? what are you going to say when someone wants to look at your engine and it's not a 1.8L DOHC? and yes the gt spoiler does go on the LX. i took mine off. i didn't see a point in it.

you make sense when sayin just to buy a GT. I would love to buy one but trying to find one in as great as shape as my LX is rare. I will keep my eyes open though..
