Question about sub size

I'm not too good with my knowledge of car audio, so was wondering what would be the best set up, x2 10" subs or x1 12" sub? I've currently got a 10" sub but am getting a more professional install done, so thought I would upgrade my sub at the same time. What would be the best choice for quality of sound?

It totally depends on your taste babe. I mean if it was me, I would opt for 2 10's, however, this also takes up more room. 12's are nice, don't get me wrong, but you get faded out sometimes at higher volumes if you go a cheaper sub!

Also you have to take into account the type of woofers you are trying to get. Take for example, if you get a w7 then I would say get one twelve (esp for $700 USD), whereas if you get say Rockford then I would say get two tens. Ask around about the quality of the woofers you want. I personally am partial to Diamond audio.

the style of your car is not advantageous to having two subs:( there is less room in the back of an R33 for sounds than the r32 so I woulld say go for 1 good 12 " sub

I myself prefer the sound of 12" subs (which is why 2 are going in my boot (or trunk if your American))

I myself prefer the sound of 12" subs (which is why 2 are going in my boot (or trunk if your American)) Yeah I must say I was leaning more towards the 1 12". Now I just have to save my pennies for that nice VDO Dayton one that I saw. :licker: :D
