I have a just purchased a 90 corsica and the drivers side wiper works but the passenger side does not. Can anyone help?

I assume there is a wiper there, but not moving? Right off hand what you might want to do if that is the case is remove the wiper arm, and see if the arm is stripped out. My son's friend has an 89 that stripped one morning when he turned on the wipers and the window was badly frozen. The motor forced the wipers to try and move and they could not. The teeth stripped and this wiper would just sit there and do nothing. If this is the case go to the local junkyard and buy one. Otherwise, am unsure waht else it would be unless something is broken under the hood/dash.

My sister had her wipers messed in her car. Although not a corsica but I don't think it really matters when it comes to wipers and blades, but anyhow, she went and had them looked at and they told her it was the motor that ran the blades (sorry I don't know what that is called). But I hope this helps some!

There is a link between the drivers side wiper motor and the pasengers side wiper arm. There is only one motor to drive both sides. The link either broke or or was not put on properly.
