Anyone ever seen this before? Kinda looks like a Zonda and a VW W12 mixed up. Never heard of this car before!

The Caspita was a Japanese concept car that never made it into production. It appeared quite futuristic for its time. The tooling is overall nice although some of the lines and details appear a little on the softer side.

Happy modeling,

The engine was originally intended as a Subaru entry into F1 hence the 3.5litre capacity, but the project was aborted.

Nice car! That roof would be a b*tch to mask, though.

That's the prototype Caspita, and this is the one and only street-legal (can I say production?:iceslolan ) model with a Judd V10 engine.

Its a Subaru with the prototype H12 engine!!!:-) Kit is ok. Has engine top plate, turns out like a maisto diecast.

Gotta Love AF with all those obscure auto-connoisseurs!

Just found a DOME (the company which built the car) brochure from my collection and in fact two models were made: one with opposed 12 and one with V10!
