This is an odd one. My son's 95 Blazer dies when you turn right sometimes at low speeds....e.g. turning into a driveway, or parking lot. Took it to an empty parking lot yesterday and I'd idle forward then turn to the right, and it would die 50% of the time. Doesn't do it turning left, or turning right at speed. It starts right back up no problem. Could this be a fuel pickup issue? I have never had an issue like this. Hope to get some ideas here on where to go.

Never heard of a faulty CPI causing a truck to stall when turning right, but given that he has a 95 that's probably one of the first things you'll want to check. If you look in the FAQs at the top of the forum there are a couple CPI related threads stickied in there.

Actually the first thing that I would do is pop the hood and have someone turn the steering wheel to the right while you watch for the steering linkage to touch anything. Even the most harmless looking wire or hose might be the problem.
If you don't see anything take a look underneath doing the same thing.
This still doesn't rule out something in the steerig columb which would be hard to find but you might find something.
Good Luck with it cbolt

Also there may something in the power steering system causing a heavy load when turning that way . Lift the front wheels off the ground and try the same test . Then try to move the tires by hand at the tire with the engine off. See if you can feel extra resistance in either direction. Rob
