I need information about a front end conversion
of a 93 del sol to a 93 civic....
I was once told that if you have the hood fenders and bumper. it would all match up but that doesnt seem correct when thinking about it.
Ive seen a few in person and online but havent been able to find any
info on how difficult the conversion actually is, If anyone knows please
post..
thanks

You'll need to cut the fenders to line up. You might actually have to cut the end off the Civic fenders and weld on the del sol ends (end touching the door), so it lines up correctly. It's definently not just a simple bolt-on job.

You have to drill out all the welds holdint the del Sol radiator support out, then pull it off. re-weld the civic radiator support in its place. Also you will end up cutting about 2-3 inches off the back of the fenders to weld to the civic fenders, otherwise they wont line up with the doors. The hood will bolt up to the existing hinges.
Any competent body shop can do it for about 1000-1500 plus parts. This has been done before. 92-95 civic, 96-99 civic, JDM ITR, USDM ITR.

What front bumper is on those Sol's in your signature that eliminate the secondary lights in the middle?

I am on the far left with a OEM 96-97 and next to me is Tyler with a Mugen (I do NOT advise getting this bumper, the Mugen needs the front bumper support removed)
