oil pressure

hello happy new year

who can tell me how to know if the oil pump pressure is correct , because i am not very sure of the dash board, the neddle goes high sometimes and low.

According to the Factory service manual, you should use GM 25087-C Oil pressure test kit. You should take the oil filter away and install this test kit. I am not sure if it is to make something simular to this test kit by yuorself. If you email me, I will send you a scan of this pages.
