Sport Compact Car magazine has an immediate need for a stock MkIII GTI VR6 (1995-1999) for inclusion in its Buyer's Guide section.
The requirements are simple: The car must be located in the Southern California area (or the driver must be willing to come to us), it must be available for a photo shoot on February 1, 2006, and most importantly it must be COMPLETELY STOCK. No modifications are allowed. Not wheels, not an intake, not an exhaust...not even a shift knob. Stock means as it came from the factory. Obviously, it must be photogenic; no major dents, broken lights, scratches or custom paint jobs or worn and weathered paint will be acceptable. If you're interested, don't reply to this forum as it probably won't be checked very often. Please send an e-mail to James Tate at Sport Compact Car (james.tate@primedia.com). Include pictures if you have them, along with a brief history of the car. Early examples will get priority over later ones.
This isn't a joke, this is for real. You can get your car in SCC but only if you act quickly. First come first served. And thanks in advance!
