1990 Acura Integra LS
had a relay problem with the fuel pump not kicking in, got that to work with a new relay switch.
now when she runs, everytime i step on the gas, the RPMS bog down. if i gradually ever so slightly increase the gas (step on the pedal) i can get it to rev up to 6k etc. but if i do more than a light press, aka punch or just regular usage, the car bogs, the RPMS drop and it chugs to stay running.
I have already replaced the following:
Fuel Pump / Strainer / Hanger Unit
Fuel Filter
Plugs
Igniter Unit - pre relay problem
Ingiter Modulator ?? (the other thing in the coil pack) - pre relay problem
The catalytic converter got cherry red hot, so I assumed that that was the problem not letting out enough exhaust. I removed that and cleaned it, and just with the header pipe exposed, it still runs like this.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
x
