Switch out drivers seat

Hi. I'm wondering how easy it is to change out the drivers seat in a 98 3.1 Lumina. The last owner was pretty robust and the left side of the seat is lower than the right side and I can feel a metal strip on the edge of the seat running top to bottom. Is it pretty straightforward to change out the seat and can someone give me instructions?

Also, I think I can get seats out of 97 - 99 Luminas would this be correct? Maybe I could snag a leather one, I dont know if Luminas had leather though... I would need blue anyway.

Thanks

Just make sure you get the right kind (60/40 bench or single). You'll need an inverted torx bit, if I recall, just unbolt all four and remove, installation is reverse.

Do I have to unbolt them from the rails, or do I unbolt the rails from the floor and replace it all? Also, its I just unbolt it from the rails, is it a pain to get the new seat back onto the rails?

There's four bolts (one at each corner) holding the rails to the car body, don't try to mess around with seperating the seat from the rails. Easier to just replace the whole assembly.
