05 denali headlight problem

Everyone keeps bragging on Denali's projection headlights, but mine falls short. Thet don't shine out very far and are full of shawdows. I hate driving it at night. Anyone else have this problem? It is completely stock with only 5000 miles. Any suggests would be appreciated.

I have never seen a set of projection head lights that worth anything, the beam is to narrow to see what is to the sides.
