Squeling from A/c compressor pulley

WHat is making my a/c compressor squel? It does it while it is idling and grows louder when i accelerate.

You positive its the compressor?. If it is. Then the bearing is probably shot. Need a new one.

Does it always squel or only when you first start up?

do you really need a/c???

It does it all the time, it does not change if i have the a/c on or off.

sray some wd40 on the belt while the engine is running dont spray close to the compressor if it stops change your serp belt let me know if that worked.

the belt is brand new and i sprayed some and it worke d for a 15 miles then the sound came back

did you buy a gates belt or a cheap belt? you can talk to me on yahoo messenger. you have to invite then i will ok it if you want to communicate that way. its faster
