Can someone draw my car?

Hey, I was wondering if I could get a drawing of my Mustang as I would like to see it, but with a cartoon twist. I have a Green Fox Body (92) and I just wanna see it with Some rims, and the paint job I plan on doing to it. I'll post up pictures of what I want it to look like, and have pictures of the rims and the paint job. Thanks for your time.

Ok heres the style of mustang I have (without the 5.0 badge. 2.3 badge is what i should have)
http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d133/jibbijib/92mustangred.jpg
And heres the base colour
http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d133/jibbijib/back_of_stang.jpg
I want to do a slightly darker green for a stripe down the center. One solid wide line from tip of rise of hood ad the very front, with two pinstripes along side that wrap around in front.
These rims

In this colour

Hope thats good enough info. Let me know if more is needed. Other than those guidelines, do what you think would look cool.

Anyone else wanna make a stab at it? I know its kinda lame straightforward, but I'd like to have something to work toward. It'd be nice to see what my car could look like. Thanks.

You can contact either PlatinumJPizzle for a toon in a style like the Skyline on top of this website, or Blip for a vector toon. You may use the search button and enter their usernames to take a look at their recent work and to send them a request via private message. They are my favorit cartooners around here.

If I had more time, I'd definetely give it a try too, but I guess I can't make it right now.

Thanks Knightvision. I don't know if you remember, but I also had my Buick cartooned out as well. That came out very good.

Probably because of my english...
But i didn't understood the part of the lines and paint scheme:
"...One solid wide line from tip of rise of hood ad the very front, with two pinstripes along side that wrap around in front..."

What, or where is tip of ride? ad the very front?
Pinstripes are thin lines that go around the car??

I'm trying to create something here...
Bye.

That looks awesome. Here's what I meant by the stripe. I just did this up in 10 mins. I didn't have the time to do it when I first posted.
http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d133/jibbijib/Hoodgraph.jpg
Please make sure to make the spokes on the rims are gold, and the centres silver, and the lip chrome, or whatever. I'm likin' yours too Blip. I always wanted the signal auto stripe on one of my cars, so now I know how it will look on the stang. Awesome guys, awesome. I have some cars that I did on corel draw, but I can't scan them in the computer. I did the outhlines on computer, then I coloured them in with pencil crayon. They're side shots, but thats all im capable of. I'll try to get them scanned into the computer for you. I did a 240sx, normal size (ok the wheel base is extended) and an AE86 Cartoon style, and my Mustang cartoon style, drifting. Looks good. Thanks alot for your time guys. Now all I have to do is buy a model and build that up too, so then I have have three examples. Woohoo!!

*edit* I like the style you did for the stripe, keep that, I might change to that. Thanks again.

Thanks Guys!
Thanks Blip...Your digital artwork is great! One thing that I don't know hot to do, and your drawing has is shadows and reflections.

Well, yesterday I traced at corel the mustang...I think is good, I still have some troubles with line thickness...I don't know exactly when to use thin or thicker lines...

here is what I got: (click on the link)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v640/magliano/Desenhos/Mustang_Vetor_peq.jpg

c&c are welcome...I'll try to color it...maybe I’ll start a thread to receive some tips and critics...

Edited: 01/12/2005
Here is the firs colored version. I addmit that i'm very happy with the results, even not been exactly what Jibbijib asked, but i'll work more on it...most at the paint.

Well here is what I got, now in colors hehehe:

I could take a stab at a realistic version with markers. Can't promise you anything amazing though since I'm not that experienced yet. Did you want to keep it stock or w/ some modifications like in blip's rendering?

Wow, both of them are beautiful! If you want to add mods, that'd be fine. But I'm only in the budget right now for a paint job. Just wanted to see what my car could look like. Thanks alot. These are great! Just makes me want to do it all so badly. Oh, Blip, I wasn't really indicating the side strips from the skyline, but since you've done them, would you be able to do them in green? Or maybe another colour the compliments the green? Thanks.

This is close to the end.
What you think? I tried to create a pearlescent paint, as you showed.
Hope you like it.
If you have any coments, please ask for changes, modifications...ok!?

Nice work on both.

Magliano, you seem to be doing just fine with shading/reflections.
The one thing that has helped me a lot is to study the patterns on good quality black & white photos.
Makes it easier for me to see the shading and reflections.
I also will scan in a color photo and change it to grayscale to see the patterns.
And then there's always the works by Lemorris, he is a master at seeing and creating reflections.

Here's one last try with a dark green stripe and gold outline (to match wheels).

Simply awesome, all of you. I like that pear effect, its neat. Alex, great job, i love it. you missed the rear wing, but thats alright. and yes it does look a lil fat, but thats alright, its much better than i will ever be able to do. Blip, it looks amazing with that new stripe. Now i know how my car can look, all i have to do is emulate it. I hope to be able to show pictures of my car as your combined creations. Thanks alot guys. This means alot to me. I would definately recommend all of you to anyone else. I wish I could draw as well as you guys. Maybe I'll stripe my Stang in my avatar just to commemorate you guys. Well, for now, what I'm going to do is create a sick interior. Most of the flat plastic unstrument panels in gonig to swap out for home made plexi glass peices. I'm going to add a brushed effect to the back side of the peices, and put lights in behind so a night it really pops. I'll try to get some pictures when I do it. Thanks alot guys. If more people want to continue, feel free. I'd love to see more randitions of my car.

*edit* One more thing, i wasnt really after the Skyline paint job, just the average two tone colour. Thanks though, and great job Magliano!
