You can read the codes yourself by cycling the key and counting the check engine light flashes. You must turn the key on and off 3 times in 5 seconds ending up with the key in the on position. Then you have to count the number of flashes that the engine light makes. there is a long flash to seprate the codes. ie; 4 short flashes, 1 long flash ,3 short flashes will give you a code of 43. It might be wise to have a pen and paper ready there may be more than one code. This might give you a starting point and point you in the right direction.

well tried the thingy of counting the flashes,,, now the best i can see is there is a long no flash between the numbers,,, 3 short flashes then pause 7 short flashes long pause,,, equals 37,,, now i did this twice to be sure and got same numbers
now the 11 is the kicker ,, as i diagnos the codes 11 is no ing reference during cranking bad hall affect?
and/or timing belt skipped, but i have chain
or loss of either camshaft or crank shaft position sensor????
now this kills the engine entirely
then there was 12,,, which i did disconnect the computer and battery recently
and 37 and all i read in 37 should not stop the cranking
so tell me of the indicators in 11 please
again thanks for the sequence,, i feell like im getting smart again now in this world of vehicles
give me my points back and book of matches
again thanks

take the wires off the coil and check them for voltage with the key on
also change your auto shutdown relay

i got the same exact problem
i have no power reading from the coil plug
and my computer reads code 12 and then 55 for end of codes
so no errors reported by the computer
