Just wondering how I would go about testing the voltage regulator on my alternator? I have it removed from the alternator, so i was wondering if I could use a multi-meter or somehthing to make sure its good.

ok, how about this then since nobody knew. Will the voltage regulator from an aftermarket 80 amp bosch alternator be interchangable with the OEM alternators voltage regulator?

Don't know if it will help, but I hope it does.

Edit: that was messed up, should be fixed now.

You need a microscope to read those. That definently won't help this guy.

view the image fullsize, not scaled to fit IE and you can read them fine

It was actually my fault, some how when I uploaded the files, they were tiny. I believe it was the size of the file (too many mb's), and photobucket resized it. But I shrunk the size down by saving them as jpgs, and they work now.
