i noticed my exhaust on my car sounded well kinda grumbly and nice lol. i know its the stock exhaust and should sound like that so i got under my car to check it out where the exhaust leak might be. heres the deal. theres the header then the down pipe then the cat. then the u-bend then behgind the u bend i bleieve is another cat. well right between the ubend and the 2second cat the weld is strating to crack and the exhaust might break there it looks. so instead of replacing the u bend or rewelding is the u-bend delete really worht the 100 bucks a shop will charge to install. will i really notice a difference. will the exhaust sound any better. i cant personaly weld so id have to have a shop do it. but is it really worth it or should i have them just reweld it. i only have an air intake on.

I didn't notice anything in the seats of pants feel with u-bend delete by itself but with other mods it adds up. The thing that looks like a second CAT is the Resonator. Whether it is worth $100 is up to you. I'd recommend getting the u-bend delete mod since welding is required to fix the exhaust leak/crack.

Good advice Bob! Get rid of the u-bend at the same time the repairs are being done will save a lot of money. Of course eliminating it will cause an increase in performance as well.

I am just going to post on this thread because there is no sense in waisting another thread. Can I just make my own pipe and weld it, or is their a major con/pro when buying the one from PFYC. Also is deleting the resonator worth it

Sorry but I disagree. This is an old thread and we prefer they are not resurrected. Start a new post.
