Another Newbie....

Hello everyone,
Just joined the board after surfing around for a few weeks - seen some familar faces and some cracking high quality models from all over the globe. The board looks friendly, and very helpful.
My real name is Paul, I'm based in southern United kingdom, and I'm known on a few other boards as Petrolhead. I've been buidling regularly for about 10 years and mainly build race/rally cars or bikes, though last year I dabbled with some aircraft modelling to learn some other techniques. This year however I have a real car vibe going so I hope I can wade through this huge pile of kits sat here in my modelling room...I just started a Tam 206WRC (Burnsie tribute I guess).
Once I have my Fotki account back up and running I'll post some pics of my completed work.

Looking forward to seeing some of your builds here and maybe at some UK shows too?
I do a few UK shows each year with my local club and did the Nationals until last year after things got silly with the IPMS folks in 04 :rolleyes: . I'll be at Yeovilton on Feb 11th with Romsey Modellers, Poole Vikings in May (?) and Salisbury, June ish..I think.....and Farnborough in September......just took a look at your site - I recognise your models! We've done the same shows but never spoke!!! :shakehead

If you see us again make sure to say 'Hi'. It's always good to meet face to face with people from here. We should be displaying at Poole, Salisbury & Farnborough, plus others too. Once I've seen your work here I'll look out for you at shows too....
