Blown engine?????

OK, so i dropped my 03 silverado off at my grandparents house the other day because they are out of town and i wanted to gve the appearance that someone was there so no one would attempt to break into their house. well, when i went over there this morning, my truck had been keyed over about 30 times up and down both sides, th hood and the tailgate, and 3 of my tires were slashed, one being the spare UNDERNEATH my truck. when i treid to start my truck after the cop left, it ran for about 30 min then made a horrible noise and it seemed like it seized up. did somene put something in my gas tank? it cant be sugar, i read that its not possible for that to happen with sugar. need help guys, thanks

People @#$%ing suck. :mad: Sounds like they drained your oil or put something in your crank case. I would also check the radiator, hoses, brake lines, etc. before I would consider driving it. If they went through the trouble of crawling underneath, who knows what they did.
Any idea who did it? It sounds like a lot of damage for a random act.

If it wasn't due to lack of oil in the case; it was probably sugar in the gas tank..

Yeah, i have good insurance through state farm, full coverage WITH gap insurance from the dealer. so if it gets totaled, im covered. but i have a feeling it was one of my wifes ex boyfriends, its IMPOSSIBLE to track this guy down, hes a drifter. but i will be waiting, you can bet on that. Im gonna put him through the same pain my poor baby felt.

That really sucks and i know your pain, I had some random dude that had a crush on my wife slash my tires and piss all over my truck. sorry to hear about it happening to you and hope everything turns out for the best. If you catch the dude whoop his ass then give him to the cops. Best of luck.
