screwed up h23, need assistance with where to go

hey my 92 lude si with a h23 is uhhh lets say on it's last leg. there is a rod knocking or a rear main, and i reaaallllyyy need help. i need to know first of all, how to take a motor out, so if there are any links to this, please share them, but i have to replace the motor, and as much as i like vtec, i think i'm gonna get another h23, cuz they have more torque.... just not as much horses. and it's easier to achieve high end horsepower than it is to get low end torque, so i was needing to know the best things to do first... i already have cold air, spoon chip, and some other mods that have nothing to do with the motor, also if it's just one rod knocking, i've rebuilt chevy motors and i know that if a roc is knocking then u have to either bore it out or buy a new motor, but hondas have sleeves. could i just buy a new crank, rod, piston, ring system and resleeve it, cuz the knocking just started and i might have drove it like 12 miles to the house since then. so please help...
