I was told by a friend that my cat may be gone. It rattle real bad when idleing and acclerating. How much to have a local muffler shop fix it? Also i need new cv joints i think. When i turn i hear this huge clicking noise from the steering. How much will it cost to have a shop fix that clicking??? Also if you saw my previous pics. The bumper was hit. I took it off and took the bumper filler off. I think i am just going to buy the whole bumper assembly from a juckyard. Because the bumper support is rusted to the bumper and the bolts are strippped bacuse of the severe rust. How much will that assembly and filler cost roughly? Also, with older civics that have high milage *197k is it really that bad of a thing to have a little tick of the valves?? Could the car still last long with the tick? Or is it a short term death sentance???

how do you know the cat is gone? cats cannot be fixed. they have to be replaced.

get under your car and see if the boot is torn.

as far as the bumper goes. the rust is just going to get worst. it grows like barnacles.

as far as ticking goes, you may need a valve adjustment.
as far as pricing goes, and if your going to let a mechanic do this work, your just going to have to ask the mechanic themselves. everyone has different prices.
