Questions about '87 Supra

hey, im looking into a '87 i want to buy. I dont know anything about the car other than what it looks like and that it has 110k miles and its an automatic. Its been re-painted and has an aftermarket exhaust, and the interior looks great. My question is how much do you think its worth, how reliable it is, how is insurance...etc. The owner is a police officer and has two supras that hes fixing up. A REALLY nice red one and the white one that is pretty nice. Any help will be appreciated.

its NA, the car is on Autotrader, just found out...he wants $7000 for it, which i cant afford :(

$7k?!?!?!? wtf?! he better be kidding cuz thats not even its value in the black book.

more like $3,000 and thats asking the limit (and going over it a bit).
