Cold starts

I've noticed thatsometimes in the am when it's cold I have a hard time shifting out of park. The thumb lock seems to be hard to depress.

i believe this is a common complaint for many aurora owners.mine also does the same thing.a mechanic explained that when the button is pushed in a pin drops down allowing the shifter to move.on cold days the pin freezes in place(probably the grease or oil freezes) and pin won't drop.only solution,move to a warm weather state or let the car warm up for ten minutes.
