I recently checked my fuse box due to my car not starting and found that the engine control fuse had blown, so i got a new one and as soon as i put it in and turned the key the fuse blew. I have replaced it several times to be sure but I still get the same result. I believe there is a short in one of the wires but I am not sure. If anybody knows anyway to fix this or what to check please responed as soon as possible.

Check the wiring going down to o.2 sensor and the crankshaft position sensor on bellhousing. Especally around the exhaust manifolds. They get burnt from manifolds. Dale :2cents:

I had the same problem a couple of months ago. My mechanic had to check all the wires associated with the Eng. Ctrl fuse. He found a defective wire that was causing a short. I believe he told me it was a black and green wire. Good luck!
