95 formula won't stay running

:confused: When i start the car it will start but it won't stay running because the key springs pass the run position. If i hold the key in the run position it stay runnig. Once I let go of the key everthing dies. can anyone help

I would go ahead and change the ignition. Never had a car do that but that would be the first thing i would do

what he said. lol it should be the thing behind the lock, ive only seen it on a nissan, but theres a little switch behind the keyhole...that turns...if you change that you should be good.
