throttle body 99 jetta..please help

i have been told that my throttle body is different from the rest ..i have a 99 jetta ...the last of the mk3 style... a resent scan has told me my throttle body is gone...so i've been trying to source one..i've found one in ontario (i'm in newfoundland)...but i want to make sure its the right one...its off a 98 ...apparntly the older ones are manual and mine is electronic

any link to a visual difference or advice would ba greatly appreciated

If the one he's selling has a cable, and yours doesn't...

You don't want to buy a salvage part from some guy you don't know. That's the best advice you'll get today. There are plenty of parts brokers online and by phone. Google the part or call 1-800-VW-PARTS.
