impala trunk emblem

i just bought the impala trunk emblem for my 93 caprice and cant figure out for the life of me how to get the bowtie off..any advice?

If its anything like the older ones, then theres 2 rivets holding it on. Just drill em out.

thats what i wanted to do, but there is nothing to drill them out with. just a circle on top..how would you drill it out

Oh, so you're saying that theres no visible rivets to be drilled out? Hmm... Is there any way to access some sort of fastener from the back?

There has to be a way to remove it - after all, it was installed after the car was painted. My guess would be from behind, where the lock mechanism (and electric solenoid for remote opener) would be.

uhhhh drill them out i cann see the rivets, take a bit around 3/16 i think it was and drill em, thats all you do the rivet head falls off and the emblem comes off that easy

Oooooh, I need that crested emblem too, I don't want to step on Alky but if you two don't strike a deal let me know. Or if anyone else sees this thread and has one I would buy it. I also need a few other odds & ends if you have a parts car!!
