Brakes

I cleaned my engine last weekend on my 2001 Rodeo with V6 with a spray on engine cleaner. Worked great but my brakes now squeak, the noise which comes from where the master cylinder hooks up. So what ever pumps the fluid, which is located underneath that round metal container where the master cylinder hooks up is causing the noise. Any ideas?

Thanks

You might have washed away some grease that lubricated the brake push rod. I'm not sure how accessible it is, but look behind the brake booster for a rod. That could be whats squeaking.
