Hello Everyone,
The other day while driving, the battery and check engine light came on and my truck died, but I still ad power to crank the starter. I called AMA and when the guy tried to boost the truck, there was quick plume of smoke under the hood and the truck went completley dead.

I think he might have blown the fuse. I tried to install a new battery but there is no power anywhere in the truck?

Does anyone know what the problem might be and where I can find the fuse for the battery?

I don't think the battery has a fuse, per se, but there should be a fusble link that probably blew. Based on your description, my money would be on the AAA guy rushing and hooking your battery up to the jumpers backwards, blowing the link.

Look for a section of wire that's broken and burnt.

You don't mention the year of your Jimmy, but if it is a newer one you can find a 175 amp fuse under the battery. You will have to pull the battery and the battery tray. follow the positive cable to a black plastic box and in that box is the fuse.
Good luck
