I know the codes I posted before said I had a random misfire
before my tune up.
And the codes after the tune up said I was good.
But it won't start all of a sudden. I jumped it at work.
And it started right away. Now, no start. I'm getting it
towed.

Got battery got spark got fuel pressure?
Are you towing to the repair shop or just giving it a ride home?
If the engine cranks over good then check for spark.
Then go for a fuel pressure check.
Hard to start cold.
Check cold start fuel pressure.
Check engine running fuel pressure.
Check engine running on the road fuel pressure.
Then shut it off and watch for fast leak down.
Pinch off at rubber part or block off return line and check full pressure.
Later V6 and V8 gm engines should have 60-66 fuel pressure.
Cold start should be 64-65 lbs of pressure.
If you do not have full fuel pressure on a cold start the injectors will not squirt fuel.
Do not leave home without it.
Engine running should be 60-66 lbs pressure depending on engine load.
Full pressure with return pinched off should be 75-85 or more.
And if it has a fast leak down after shut off you have a leak.
Post back fuel pressure readings.

thanks guys. I had to boorow my mom's car to get
to work. in the last year:
replaced vortek engine
replaced transmission--possibly another one after I post the kind of tranny
fuel pump/filter replaced
routine maintenance w/ alternator/battery/plugs/wires/EGR gasket
countless other things
plus, I've had to replace the tranny twice in 1 year and onto my 3rd in 2 years. and I only
drive on the highway at the speed limit--
not by choice.
I'm so frustrated. I was saving money
to pay cash for a tranny change--if it needed to
be. but I think I've had my car towed
about 4 times this year.
I don't know why I was so ignorant to buy a car
without checking it out before. basically,
my previous car was stolen and stripped.
so the ins. co. gave me only 1000.00
for it. so I got a 95 tow package 4x4
4.3 LS. despite it's fury, I love the damn thing.
I'll post back the tranny soon.
