1988 dakota help

i bought a 88 Dakota 4 cylinder 2.2 with a blown head gasket garage redid head gasket now truck idles like a lawn mower really loud and fast also I'm now getting oil up in my air cleaner housing its using oil like its water any ideas how to fix this or how much it would be to fix or am i better off selling the truck for like 500.00 bucks and be done with it .
