I seem to have a problem with my peice of crap jenson amp that I bought from kraggen....well the problem is that there is no sound that emits from on of the subs but the other sub works fine. Its a 2-channel, and I know that the subs are compatible because they were working for a while. Now it seems that it only works when it wants to...as in sometimes i turn the amp upside down it it'll actually work, but then only for a bit...I don't even know why it stops working. I've checked everything...and it's all in place and there doesnt seem to be any obvious reason why it shouldn't be working. This is how its set up....

These are the compatible ways that it works for one sub....

These are the only ways to get only one sub to work...the way im supposed to have it set for 2 is pretty obvious but it doesnt want to work...I dont understand can someone please help me out before I toss this thing out on the freeway?

Is there anything rattling inside when you flip it over?
Make sure the wires have full contact inside? maybe bridge the amp and see if both work?

Nope no problems like that. No rattling...I've used new wires and made absolutely sure they were contacting and tried bridging it. Nothing happens...only one sub works. This is really starting to piss me off.

have you tried running the wire for the sub that does work from the amp to the sub thats not working? try that , if the sub still doesnt work , you got a bad sub , if the sub does work , something broke inside the amp , my bets are on the amp , jensen is shit , least in my book

Nah both subs work fine using the same lines....and I agree jenson is a fucked up brand...and their hotline and website don't even exist ( I wonder why?? ) but eh I've decided to run both subs on the same line that actually works. Seems to work fine that way so I'll leave it at that.

Best bet is to trash the amp and go to onlinecarstereo.com and buy a good name brand mono amp for both your subs and just wire the subs in parallel to get them down to 2 ohms. You'll spend a little bit of cash to get something good but at least you won't have to deal with this kind of stuff.
