i think there's a catch on the auction. it says $2900 for shipping and insurance, but why would he provide a "Buy it now" feature if the $2900 is only for shipping and insurance? It's just weird.

look at the buy it now button in his post. First of all ebay doens't provide an escrow service and if you click buy it now it goes to evay.*** or something like that. Definately a scam.

It could be real. It makes more sense to put up a car for 2900 that covers the shipping and all, then to put up a car that cost whatever PLUS the 2900 for shipping. If he really wants to get rid of it, it does make sense.

Yeah. Also did you notice it was a private auction? If someone were to bid on it, their usernames are hidden so we cant try to warn them. Sounds like a big pile of BS to me.

Exactly, it's a total scam, evay...and it looks just like ebay. Strange how instead of your password/sn it asks for your information.

I just clicked "chat live with and ebay auto specialist" and reported the shit out of that guy. Also the vin says 000000000000 and if you try to copy any paste anything it says "sorry try again"

yeah it was a manual, besides thats one ugly car anyways. If you look back from the first f and f they took junk cars and dressed them up. Example the hondas in the 1st one where on ebay they had 160,000 miles on them lol. And the eclipse was really a auto but made it look like a manual in the movie. So lame. How i know this about the eclipse is because it went threw costums when someone bought it from canada and i was there.

If this guy was telling the truth about his son, and selling the car for so cheap to cherish his memory. You would think that he would be looking for a young guy that reminded him of his son. Not a business that would profit from the publicity of such a car.
