now working on the interior

and waiting for replacement parts for clear parts and body :(

Looks good, i've been working on the Fujimi 1/24 Mine's Lancer Evo. VI and sadly, I can see where Fujimi cut corners on detail

I have the Hasegawa Evo VI on my pile for a long time now. I think I am going to paint it that copper/orange color that Nissan and Mazda and some other companies offer now, with aluminum/silver 5-spoke wheels left over in the Evo VI rally kit.

I also thought make a pseudo-Tommi Makkinen Edition knock-off like I saw in a Gamebody Advance game: It had the black/white/gray 'arrow' down the sides but was green.

I think Fujimi cut down on under chassis details. I read a review of the Mine's Evo. VI some years ago and the guy summed it up that the rear differential moreless looks like a chunk of plastic thrown on without much care to detail. I also think the body is a bit out of proportion, some corners are rounded too much, others not enough.

after reading wat u type here, i dare not touch the evo v made by fujimi. but i want the evo iii badly

A little updates.
the interior.....using masking tape to make the red color ..looks more realistic a bit ( i think )

body mods...
it's from the damaged evo vi concept i did.. cause it's too orgish , i can't stand it.. so took everything apart.... so lots of filling have to be done...it will have custom side skirts, an evo vii style spoiler, and the front grill i broke the middle part so it looks like evo ix a bit..

ok, i strat to fill the spoiler with putty and fill the side vents of the bumper with styrene cause the side vents are gone? hmm...that's wierd
anyway, will strat redoing the window panes....
i just primer to check if theer are any unsmooth parts..and i found them :|

A little updates.
i use the top up prepaid cards to fix the side skrits......the extension to fit the side skirts is damage so i cut the cards in small peices and manage to fix it. the side skirts are using styrene prepaid cards and it works well. here is the interior photo. normal flat black with carpeted interior ( soon ) and red black recaro seats.

scratch build windows using OHP.......ralliart tuned stickers, evo vii spoiler, cumstom side skirts, k- car number plates :P:D, tinted black head lamps ( inside )....single wiper......interior is simple grey......

yea, it's masking tape ... :lol: ...cause it's too easy to manipulate and doesn't leave much residue........

anyway, i feel satisfy about the mirrors i made

ok, i went to the provision shop and they are selling stickers. so i noted the ralliart stickers that are coincidently that have the black background. so i bought them. cut them a bit and stick to my model... :icon16:

Cham, your builds are getting better and better. That's good to see. The black Evo looks good but you didn't put the mesh for the front grill... did you damage it? Try using a wire mesh usually used for mosquito netting to replace it... Just a suggestion.

thanks druid for the complements. i owe you big time cause without your help i will not be able to do lots of incredible things with stuff beside me. anyway, i purposely break the middle grill (upper part) and leave it unmesh...... :D to have a 'tuned' look
