So I was on r61 yesterday and came to a traffic light, two lanes. Anyways a WRX pulls next to me and revs and so I oblige. About 1.5miles to next stoplight and by then i had easily about 8 or9 legths on him then we got onto 222 and i did around 130/135 for 5 or so miles and his car couldn't seem to do more than 120 haha it wasnt even funny. i was almost curios as to how it could've been a wrx but siince he somewhat rolled through light when he origionally pulled next to me i saw the badges. Either way his car couldnt even keep with my gti. so diff from what i expected, i was expecting to get destroyed.

well... you did say "so it has easily 220+ hp and 260+tq" in another post a while back... and that's about equal hp, but a good deal more torque... then you have to take into account the power loss because of the AWD drive system as compared to your FWD car...

so really, i would think you can take stock WRX's all day long. ;)
