I'm building my Tamiya Supra right now and I picked up some Tamiya pearl white paint from the hobby store this weekend. I primered it gray, and I'm planning on laying down a layer of silver, then True Blue Pearl (metallicish blue) before putting on a few coats of the Pearl White.
My question is, will the blue be really evident underneath the white? I would like the result to be white with a hint of blue...not too much. Anyone with experience with these colors? Thanks!!!

try it out on a spare peice... i dont know what it will look like but i imagine if the white is too thick in certain areas it will not show as much of the blue undercoat (like in the cracks & groves & stuff) might look wierd... but like i said, try it out on a spare peice first to check

It all depends on how translucent the white is. If it's not translucent then you probably won't "see" the blue through it. Test it like cozmo said.
If it doesn't work like you had hoped you can still get the blue tint by putting a couple of drops of the blue into a clear coat and shooting the car with an airbrush.
