popping the hood

I was thinking you know how cops always are asking to pop the hoods on us poor sr20det ppl and our kind of cars in general...what if (i think i know someone who did this before), you made it so that the latch to open the hood only did it a certain way or it was relocated to somehwere else...that way it would be valid to say that my hood latch is broken it wont pop up = mabye no ticket? i know a guy who used to say that (it was actually broken) and they jsut let him go...anyone have experience with this or know if this could work out?

get hood locks, so that they have to have a search warent to look. And then say you left the keys at your house..

pretty tricky question. I wouldn't feel right when goin 100 and knowing that I modified the hood latch
to be defective lol. yea try the hood locks

it already has before (the hood latch had 230k miles on it) so yeah i think ill go with hood locks...where can i get them at kraigen mabye? For modding the hood latch (interior one)i was more thing of changing hte location but keeping a fake stock one in the stock location
