99 burb with 5.7 4x4. Keep blowing the 20 amp fuse for taillights and dash lights. Where do I start to look? It has a pigtail for towing. Seems to blow when I apply the brake.

Most likely in the harness for the trailer plug, you should be able to take the trailer harness back to where it T's into the main harness. Unplug it and plug the main harness back together without the trailer harness, see if it stops blowing fuses

You Might Want To Check Your Tail-light Bulb Sockets And The Board Itself. They Tend To Crystalize From Heat, Break Apart And Miss Electrical Continuity, That'll Even Blow Fuses And/or Bulbs Themselves. I Had To Replace Rh Tail-light Bulb Base (board) On My '99 Burb. All Sockets Were Burned Up From Misscontacts.

well think I found the problem. After I took all the bulbs out, worked on the pigtail, the only thing I could find was a side marker light was burnt. Not out just dark. Put everything back together and no problems since. Even checked the boards in the back. They looked fine. Maybe it was just a bad socket and by twisting and pulling on them something got fixed. Works now.
