CR-V rear differential pump assembly

I have a 2002 CR-V, AWD vehicle, 43,700 miles I been having problems with the rear differential. I noticed the problem when I was decellerating when I hit 45 mph, theres a loud humming noise coming from the rear of vehicle, you can still hear the noise till 30 mph then it starts back up till I come to a stop. I have taken it to the Honda dealership and they service my rear differential 3 times, between each service, they road tested and the noise was still present. They called the Honda Tech Service and they said that they have to replace the entire rear pump assembly, Cost just parts $2,550.00. Just wondering if anybody else had any simaliar promblems.

And this is going straight?

Has anyone looked into bearings and the obviouse, bad tires ?

Just double check that you have the same size tires all the way around too.
