Clutch

whats up everyone this is my first post. ok so 2 days ago i got in my 89' chevy s-10 and the clutch had no pressure and i couldn't shift. i always burn fluid quick so i added some like i usually do but it didn't help at all. my master cylinder was leaking a little bit inside under my pedals so i replaced it. After hooking all the hoses back up and everything I tried to bleed the system but its not working. I still have no pressure in the pedal. Now im thinking its the slave cylinder? If anyone can help with bleeding techniques or anything i would really appreciate it.

how do you know when to replace the slave cylinder? when i bleed the do i bleed the clutch master and slave or will bleeding the slave take care or the master too?

My slave cylinder failed me about 2 months ago. What I did was fill the clutch fluid reservior, get in the car and pump the clutch for a few minutes, then check the fluid level. If it was low, I'd repeat until it wasn't drastically different. If you have too big of a leak though, you might just end up pumping fluid into your car.

When I drove it to the dealership, everytime I needed to use the clutch, I would have to put the car in neutral and pump the clutch 10-15 times to get it to grab. Hopefully you live close to a service shop or parts store...
