TB 4X4 Trouble

ok, so our 4WD only works 50% of the time. We took it into the dealer and they said they fixed it, but when we put it in AW4 4Hi 4Lo it does not ingauge, it just blinks.

Anyone else have this same problem?

10 bucks says your transfer case is the problem. they have a little thrust bearing with a spring behind it for the A4WD. that bearing wears, gets a little free play and then the spring starts floating a little, gets caught and bad things happen.

either that or the switch, hopefully it's the switch but i'd guess thats what they did the first time you took it in. have them drain the t-case and take a look if they can't fix it.

It was the ackuater (sp) it had burned out.
