Minidreams 06 wildhorse mustang *wip*

ok well i thought i would jump in on the 06 stang craze LOL! it seems everyone is building this kit so i am in the game now ! As most of you all know i cant build anything box stock so as you might know it will customed in some way ! This wont be as wild and prefect as Andy Jones 06 stang project , but he gives much to look forward to as i build ! Well heres what i got !

I added a simple full body kit , 22in wheels , a custom hood , beefy motor , filled in the wing holes , and redesigned the door and quarter windows, Hope you all like i will post more as i go !

as for beefing up the motor ! I added high oil flow valve covers , redesigned the throttlebody and airintake , and rised the manifold some , thats way thw large hood scoop i went with!

Yes the under side of the hood is cut opened all ready just didnt grab a pic yet ! LOL! I will post when i get battiers in the camera !

Looking good David - very aggressive - likeing the rear 1/4 windows - cleans up the original design alot. Look forward to seeing more.

It's a Revell kit. Well made, too; I'm working on one currently. Just striped it!

Hello , hows everyone been Well as for me i got the old airbrush out and been working ! I think i need to change my Wild horse Cobra to a Copper Head ! As to the facted that i had / was going to tu tone this Orange and silver but when i laid down the orange on top of the silver it the sliver was still to wet and MAN !BAM This thing just went wild all by it self so i finished the whole car this way ! in 1 pic i shot the same color over white and you can see the differnt in color , i am going to leave it this way due to it adds a good detail to the kit ,Ford doesnt clear under the hood on most cars any way , And if you all the look to give me feed back on the wheels , SHould i go with all chrome , or with the black and chrome , They are the same wheels ! It will have the black grill maybe black out the rear tail light area ,not sure yet , Well here are the pics!

Wowww I love the paint!

Wow... that's an AWESOME color.

My advice is chrome wheels if you can accent the orange on the rims too, alternating spokes or whatever. If not, flat black or black painted chrome would look killer!

I like the black wheels!
Some more black in the scheme would tie them in better, maybe a black scoop and black in the tail. black pony's on the doors would be way cool too.

Hi, I'd go with the black rims...if you can't do the spokes in orange ;-)
Suggestion: Black grille, rear (between the lights) and mirrors...but it's your model, so you decide. I'm sure you'll pick the right combo...as on all your previous models.
oh, BTW...is that the Tamiya Sierra XR4 in the backgound? Would you mind posting pics of it?

Well the good news is when the paint looks this good you almost can't mess up the wheels so either is good but I think the black will sit better, the bad news is I am going to have to track you down hit you over the head:twak: and steal your paint because that color is just SICK!!!!

well today i have been working on this ! Thanks to all the comments so far and you thoughts on the black or chrome wheels ,WELL I DIDNT GO WITH EITHER 1! I followed are freind Marcs idea on making the centers gun metal I like the look so much that i painted the rear taillight area the same color as while as the headlight area !take a look

i wanted a differnt look for the front so i made my own grille with out the fog lamps

i match the interior colors with the body color and then i used buksin suide and then tan suide i added my own shifter and a custom wheel , But i forgot to get good pics before i put the assembly in the body ! SORRY!

then i also worked on the motor sum yesterday , i didnt go with the factory assembly , I went for the look of the 5.7 96 cobra where the plugs go in the valve cover then added dual coil packs and some heater hoses just to add a little detail the engine area ! I still want to add a cooling can and may be something else to enhance the open area left from removing the are box!

stayed up all night and now i am ready to paost the 06 stang as a completed kit ! Its my frist full detailed kit for 06 ,but my second for the year heres the last pics of the wild horse turned copperhead ! thanks again for the coments and feed back Later Now back to the torville wagon !
