i have a 2000 Lesabre and have a problem with the gas pedal sticking on cold days. It only sticks on start up when the car has been sitting long enough to be cold. I press the pedal, keep adding pressure till i hear a pop, and the pedal moves freely.
I had the same problem with my 97 Regal, but its more severe in the Lesabre.
Does anyone have any ideas on what may cause this, or what I can do to repair it?

Pull the air intake hose and spray some cleaner inside the throttle body especially around the butterfly valve. Also, take a look at the linkage where it attaches to the throttle body and do a little spraying at this point.
