Just becuase the wires are new doesn't mean one didn't touch a manifold and melt, one could be lose or cut, broke anything . The rainy weather puts more moister in the are and makes it easier to arc. I had a bronco II that did the exact same thing. I don't suggest find out the way I did though. (moving the wires with the engine running Zapp! Ouch!) What sometimes works is checking at night you can see the spark jumping to the block.

nope - good spark on all wires and good coil - FOR SURE- no meltage or anything and i have gounded out the wires to check spark as well.

Its must be a MOISTURE sensor or some thing that deals with DENSE AIR imbetween the ECM and the Carb! NOT A MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR its only an 1984 INLINE 6 CYL with TFI ign.
ANYONE PLEASE HELP!!!

ONLY HAPPENS WHEN CLOUDY OR RAINY!!! PLEASE!!

I have an 83 that runs really crappy in the rain too, all it is is the moisture getting itot the engine, dont worry about it, its nothing harsh. Let the truck idle for a while before you start driving, i rev my engine up and if it keeps dropping to low rpms keep on the gas for awhile, it goes away(well gets better than it was). Just the moisture and water.

I don't know if you guys have met anyone that can tell if its going to rain because there knees or any of there joints hurt, but maybe your bronco is like that...... I'm sorry I thought it was funny. I've owned 2 bronco II's (87 & 89) in my 27 years and haven't experienced that.

check ur air intake, Idont know what it looks like but you may be sucking in moisture from inside the fender or somewere else. check ur heater hose for ur intake, pcv hose for leaksor inside ur intake on those days.

Get a plant mister. When the engine is running good, spray all the electronic components one by one. When one gets wet and the truck starts running bad, chances are you found the problem.
