can somebody tell me how too remove the inner door trims on a mk 4 golf gti 1999 please help

This is for drivers door!!!
On the inner door handle the part you grab to close the door, there is a long rubber peice with indentations like a golf ball. You have to carefully pry that peice out with a flat screw driver or a trim removing tool. Once you get that out, the handle with the power window/lock controls can be taken out by pushing in an up wards motion. On the bottom of the door you will find screws, eithier torx or phillips screw heads. Remove them. Back to where the handle you just removed there are gold colored screws with phillips heads, remove them. The door panel is now being held on only by the plastic trim buttons that are not visible. Starting from the middle bottom start to pry the pannel away from the door with your fingers. You may have to use a flat screw driver for some leverage. Make your way along the bottom and up both sides of the door until you get to the top of the panel. The panel will then only be attached at the top wher it meets the window. In an upwards motion push/pull the panel up to free it from the door. DON'T let the door panel drop to the floor once it is free since there are wires for the power accessories attached. Release the wire connectors and the cable from the door handle the panel is now free from the door. The wire connectors are not interchangable so when you put it back together you can't hook up the wrong connections. I.E. the power window switch to the power locks. The Chiltons repair manual shows it all. For the $10-$15 its worth it. :lol:
