Esprit V8

A very racy Esprit V8 in Dutch Supercar Challenge with the loudest and highest gearbox whine I have ever heard!

Thats absolutly utterly insane!

Straight cut gears make a lot of noise at 8,000rpm though.

Ladies and Gentleman this is were the emphasis comes on qualifying. In all seriousness damn that guy can drive. But i couldn't take the sound of that gear box. The engine i could but that whine louder and louder nope.

wow, that vid was amazing. amazing car, amazing driver, and amazingly annoying tranny. that is the loudest and most annoying tranny i have ever heard. i only heard the engine once in that vid.

My god that is ear-piercing. And I like that guys driving style. :)

Well, the thing is guys, its not a Lotus - its a BMW E36 320 Touring car.

I want that tranny in my Camaro!!:p

It would probably be a subtle whine for the regular 2200rpm shifts for daily driving, and whoever you're racing would thing you have about 12 KB blowers under your hood:biggrin:
