Here we go my first exelent render of a car. it took me 5 hours and i still have things wrong with it!

Looks quite good, maybe add some black pastell on areas where the red has shadows... can you post the reference?

you're improving a lot. More than i can say for myself...anyhow, a little less wheel gap in the rear plus the duct that you missed is all you need imo. I like it actually looks drawn instead of photo quality like some of the folks on here produce. I know you prolly want it to look real though. It not looking real makes it "look like an idea."(i didnt really know how to word that...lol) I think you could have some success with charcoal pencils if you wanna give that a shot. Keep it up!

Nicecar photoquality isn't as cool as it used to be.
I would say instead of killing yourself trying to get it to look just like a photo, work towards making your own style.
From what I have seen in the art world, art directors are looking for something that has
the fingerprint of the artist on it. When you are aiming for photoguality, it is like you are trying
to take the artists personality out of it.

^ He's got a point - Concept car drawings/renderings are rarely photorealistic.
