a paint problem

Never had this happen to me before.

First time i have decanted my undercoat to spray through my airbrush. I'm not sure what is causing it. The best way to describe it would be that its like i am spraypainting little balls that stick to my car body! I did not thin the paint anymore than what it was in the can. I do know that when i shaked the decanted paint that there was still gas in it, but i only placed alittle in my airbrush.

More than likely just sand back most of the primer and reprime again! hopefully without this problem ocurring again!

What type of paint did you decant? Try to thin it more according to type of paint.

its enamel paint, it seems very thin already. i don't think it needs any further thinning!!!

Yeah and its the last body part that i have to paint too!!! grrrrrr

yes also have you a single or dual action AB? I worked on a print service, one of the printer was a AB printer with topcoat, sometime AB made that and more: also a lot of NETS (yes like spider's web) around. It should be a wrog ratio from paint and air, also some mixture: have you a trap?

The paint dried before it hit the surface. It needs to be thinned and perhaps sprayed a little closer. It probably won't need much thinner to make it spray okay. But it's enamel, I'm not sure what type of thinner you would use for it, and enamel primers are pretty much junk anyway...the good sandable primers are lacquers. If you can't easily sand down the mess you already have, you'll need to strip that paint off and try to use some primer that is more suitable...like Tamiya primer or perhaps Plastikote sandable primer.

I would say spray closer to the body. Also you might be getting moister in you air line. If that’s the case you need a moister trap.

That look like what happened to me when I used Acrylic primer under Enamel Paint. Or Lacquer over Enamel
