Speedometer Cable Release

I can't find it..........augh. 84 z-28

I've got everything outta the way/off except for the speedo cable. Just a general area and what it looks like will help alot, and maybe a good tool to use.

It is a metal spring clip on the cable head, has a tang sticking out. Push it towards the speedo with a screwdriver and pull the cable off at the same time.

Ok thanks alot, how about size on the speedo?

I'm guessing about 5

Difficult because of how the speedo mounts. Unless you just want to go with a speedo from a different Camaro...say one with a 140 speedo, that should bolt right in place.
