I had to do Intake gaskets(leak at rear of manifold). After job was done had p0507 code, high idle. Did everything possible to double check everything I did, spoke to some guys from a gm dealer who gave me a entire lower, upper manifold and sensors. Re did the job, now no start. I thought timing was off, set by #1 on compression, tooth on distributor aligned with rotor. Im not getting spark out of the coil even after trying a donor module and coil. I have been looking closely at grounds, hoping I had disturbed some wires. Found this thing at back of intake. Hidden below the fuel lines, toward the driver side with a single wire coming out. Haynes book readers page 4-18 top middle pic just out of sight on bottom of pic. ANyone run into wires breaking in the harnesses? HELP!

Sounds like a bad crank sensor. (Located on the lower portion of the timing belt cover)
